Without stress, there is where we gain our focus to manage our lives. Stress has locked us into many places we don't want to be. It has robbed us of our happiness, our reality and our freedom.

We forgo many laughter, enjoyment and joy.

5-Minute Meditation - Dove of Peace

Close your eyes and take in a few deep, cleansing breaths. Let your tension out with every exhale. Relax.

Imagine you are standing in the center of a beautiful, green valley, so green it's like velvet. The air around you is still and warm, and you can smell the sweet green of the earth rising up in the warm air. It is calming.

Behind you is a small, white bench. You sit down there. It's amazing how clear and crisp every color is, how every leaf and every flower seems almost electrified with life. All your senses seem stronger here.

As you are relaxing there, you see something in the sky, in front of you. It's a white dove and it is gently flying toward you. As it gets close to you, you instinctively reach out your hands for it. It lands in your hands and looks up at you.

Looking into its eyes, you sense that this beautiful dove has come to bring you peace. It seems to know your cares and concerns. It seems to be listening to you... to your heart.

You can feel a healing sensation penetrating you from all around. It's as though this dove, and even the very air here knows who you are, and is emanating compassion for you. Peace fills your body and mind. Let it in. It's a gift from your dove.

When you are ready, release your dove and slowly return to the present. Open your eyes, stretch and go on with the rest of your day... peaceful, and refreshed.
